New Zealand Women and Ireland Women will come out to play for pride on Saturday’s Women’s World Twenty20 dead rubber at Providence Stadium. Australia Women and India Women have made the semi-finals from Group B after winning three games apiece.
New Zealand Women were called one of the title favourites at the start of the tournament but could not do justice to the claim. Getting off to an awful start, they lost the first two fixtures against India and Australia. However, White Ferns put on a dominant show in their last outing where they crushed Pakistan by 54 runs. They would want to collect another win before heading back home.
Ireland Women, on the other hand, are winless after three completed games. They would want to give their all in the final game and head back home with happy memories.
